Bishop Ricardo Grant DD. J.P.

Ricardo Grant was born on February 26th on the Island of New Providence, Nassau Bahamas. He has matriculated at several Institutions of higher learning, where he has earned degrees at the Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctrinal levels in Nashville, Tennessee, and Arkansas.  After returning to the Bahamas, he took up residence in Freeport, Grand Bahama where he engaged in an extensive Settlement–to-Settlement Evangelism work which lasted for many years.  He Founded Latterday Ministries which was later renamed Universal Household of Faith. After Several years of Ministries and a growing congregation, He was consecrated to the Office of Bishop. He became the first of his era to ascend to this office in Grand Bahama. Bishop Grant is the Founder of Universal Household of Faith located in Hawksbill, Grand Bahama, and has a membership of over 600 persons.  Bishop Grant also serves as the Sr. Pastor for Community Holiness Church, his second Ministry location in the settlement of Eight Mile Rock, Grand Bahama. Through his work, of ministry, God has enabled him to revolutionize the arena of ”Praise and Worship” and the School of Ministry educating many Ministry Leaders over the years in Grand Bahama and around the World. Bishop Grant has planted several ministries sending forth sons and daughters during the past 30 years and oversees numerous  Pastors and Churches under the umbrella of the Universal Fellowship Alliance and Ricardo Grant Ministries.

 

Bishop Grant truly has a heart for souls and is passionate about Advancing the Kingdom of God.  God has blessed him with an Apostolic Mantle and has been using him to heighten this awareness which consequently allows him to provide specific training concerning the  Five-Fold-Ministering-Gifts.  He is called to build, encourage, strengthen and restore families and ministries as well as to develop Pastors and Leaders. Bishop Grant is a Trail  Blazer.  An Apostolic Father and Prophetic Voice for this era, He functions, with a Kingdom and Global minded focus. Advancing the Kingdom is his slogan.

Bishop  Grant continues to pursue his desire to establish a  center for developing Christian Leaders based on their “call” to do the work of Ministry. In 2003, Bishop Grant established the Universal Cadet Academy, with well over 150 youth. This youth disciplinary ministry drew young persons from local settlements from Sweetings  Cay to  West  End  Grand  Bahama.  He is faithful in grooming and developing the five-fold ministry gifts to the body through weekly School of Ministry and intense Bible study classes. He has served as  President of the  Bahamas  Christian  Council for  Grand Bahama for (2) two terms from 2003-2007.  He also served as the Acting Assistant  Force  Chaplain of the  Northern  Division of the  Royal  Bahamas Police Force from 2001 to 2007 and still at present. He also serves as the Chairman of the  Grand  Bahama Christian  Council of past  Presidents,  he serves as the Providencial Leader for the Western Caribbean in the Global United Fellowship where his spiritual father Bishop Neil C. Elis is the Presiding Prelate; and also serves his Country as a  Reservist  Superintendent of Police in The Royal Bahamas Police Force

Bishop Grant is a well sort after Conference and Leadership Empowerment Speaker, and Spiritual Educator. He has preached extensively throughout the Bahamas, the Turks & Caicos Islands, parts of the Caribbean, the United States, Canada, Nigeria, and the United Kingdom.

Bishop Grant is married to Pastor Shandlene Grant, who works and serves alongside him in daily ministry as his teammate, and is the proud father of his children, Cache, Isaiah, and Alina.
